BHR Hollywood Reports............Standing in the shadow of Kanye West is a lot harder when you aren't getting the credit you think you deserve.

After a series of online rants and a short lived beef with Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose, Kanye West is consistently making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

West's longtime writing collaborator, Rhymefest, is now suggesting that the Chicago rapper is in need of help and should seek "spiritual and mental" counseling.

The rapper has been gaining all the side eyes after he took to social media to defend a lyric calling Taylor Swift a bitch, revealed he is $53 million in debt, and asked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion in his ideas.

On Twitter, concerned fans turned to Rhymefest--who penned Kanye hits like "Jesus Walks" and "New Slaves--to intervene.

"My brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental,” Rhymefest tweeted. “He should step away from the public … & heal," Rhymefest wrote.

He also went on to say that West’s “mind and spirit” weren’t “right” and that he has been unable to help him.

"I love my brother. I pray for his health not our entertainment," he tweeted.

In October 2006, he served as a hip-hop ambassador, meeting with then-Tory leader David Cameron.

He became the first rapper ever to be received at the House of Commons.

When talking about rappers promoting violence in their lyrics, Rhymefest said 'many rappers these days have afflictions, such as Asperger's, bipolar disorder or autism'.

He told the Daily Beast that some rappers need advocates, but instead their health issues are turned into entertainment.

Just a few days ago, Rhymefest tweeted about Kanye's mental and spiritual stability.
