Melvin went on his social media account to set the record straight that "he wrote the group a letter stating that (Drummer) Gerald Valentine and (Bass Player) John Eton and myself that they were going out on the road and doing Ready For The World why..... I wrote the songs" "People say well I thought it was Ready For The World well... I been in the studio by myself for years doing the songs that you love with nobody in the studio and I didn't wont to have to go here but when somebody says Mr Riley is stealing money my checks are different from the group check and its always going to be bigger because I wrote the songs and people kind of felt like okay well this other band member comes on and saying this about Melvin well I've stayed away from drum-ma for 35 years for me to come on here and have to have my fans understand what's really going on I"m doing it because I know it's been some B.S"
