The Obama's Have Donated $2 Million To The City Of Chicago To Start New Presidential Center

BHR Hollywood Reports........Barack and Michelle are donating $2 Million toward Two Chicago programs that provide summer jobs ad apprenticeships to help employ and train South Side youth.

Obama made the announcement while presenting preliminary plans for his presidential library and center in Chicago's Jackson Park neighborhood. Construction will take a few years, but Obama said he wanted the facility to start offering programs immediately.

Obama estimated the presidential center would create 200 to 300 permanent jobs and 1,400 to 1,500 jobs during construction. Economic development as a result of the library would produce 2,000 jobs he stated.
