According to reports, the alleged victim shared with police that she is (or was) a virgin and that her involvement in provocative videos was not synonymous with consent for further interactions with the rapper.

Additionally, we reported that sources close to the musician claimed the allegations came about after the woman was dropped from Short’s label and that the incident is “concocted.”
“I know that alot of you were so proud when I got my deal with Too Short, and I hate to disappoint my supporters.
But I’m sharing my story…I was raped sexually, mentally, and psychologically. This is why I will not be working with Too Short anymore. Thanks for your prayers,” Ana Lou wrote in two separate tweets sent on January 20.

"Today, I read that I am being investigated for allegedly committing sexual assault. The allegations against me are completely false. Let me be clear, I have NEVER had nonconsensual sex with anyone, ever. I have directed my lawyers to vigorously combat these ridiculous claims.
I have not been contacted by the LAPD about this matter and doubt I ever will be. If I am, I will direct my lawyers to fully cooperate and turn over 100’s of text messages and other evidence that will prove this woman is falsely accusing me. Thanks for your support,"
