Rapper Kendrick Lamar Writes Open Letter To Former
President Of The United States Barack Obama
BHR Hollywood Reports...........Hours before Barack Obama handed the presidential torch to Donald Trump, Kendrick Lamar shared a message for Barry O on Twitter.

"We really gonna miss you champ," he tweeted at @POTUS. "The good you've done & opportunity's you've given. Truly never know what we got til its gone. Thank u."

Kendrick Lamar
Lamar has a personal connection with the history-making president. In 2015, Obama called Dot’s “How Much a Dollar Cost” his favorite song of the year.

The TDE rhymer also met with Obama at the White House for an in-depth discussion about the My Brother’s Keeper initiative.

Last year, along with Janelle Monáe, Kendrick was also tapped as a performer for the White House’s Fourth of July concert.

Kendrick isn’t the only one saying goodbye to Obama, of course. Jeezy recently posted a video of himself and Jay Z performing “My President,” a song made to honor Obama in 2008. T.I. would later repost the same vid.
