Former N.W.A Dr. Dre And Ice Cube Has Been Freed Of All Charges In The Suge Knight Murder Lawsuit

BHR Hollywood Reports................Dr. Dre and Ice Cube will not be charged in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of actor Terry Carter, who was killed on the set of a promotional shoot for Straight Out of Compton last year.

A court ruled Cube and Dre aren't responsible for Carter's death because it's unfathomable to blame them for Knight's reckless and allegedly criminal act -- running over and killing Carter.

Cube and Dre were named defendants, along with Suge, when Carter's family filed the suit ... claiming Cube and Dre hired known gang members as security to keep Knight away from "Straight Outta Compton" shoot locations.

Suge ran over Carter shortly after security gave him the boot, and the family felt that's what sent him into him into a rage.

Dr.Dre 

The lawsuit remains against Suge, who also has a murder trial pending for the fatal hit-and-run.

Dr. Dre and Ice Cube had originally been accused of negligence for allegedly hiring gang members to act as security on the set.

 The suit also stated that two of those gang members they hired -- including Cle "Bone" Sloane, who was seriously injured by Knight's hit-and-run -- were responsible for the incident that led to Knight fleeing the scene and Carver's death.
