Blige’s response was in reaction to online commentary about her upcoming sit-down interview with Hillary Clinton. In a promo clip, Blige could be heard singing the politically-charged song as Clinton looks on.

Though the full interview will not air until Sept. 30,  it's the preview video that has fans up in arms over the video's awkwardness.

The full interview titled, "The 411 With Mary J. Blige," has fans comparing the Apple Music segment to that of her 2012 Burger King Crispy Chicken commercial, where she sang of the sandwich's goodness to the tune of her 2011 "Don't Mind" single.

That commercial, much like the Clinton preview, has received so much criticism from "haters" and "crabs in a barrell" that the The Queen of Hearts just couldn't remain silent.

"Anyone who can keep a straight face while Mary J. Blige is singing at them like that deserves to be president," tweeted @NayashMC.

The hateful memes and posts continued after the teaser's release on Sept. 27 that the King and Queen of Hearts Tour headliner could no longer remain silent.
