BHR Hollywood Reports.......Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer are starring in a new untold true story titled "Hidden Figures" which will be arriving in theaters on January 13th.

According to the trailer's description, Hidden Figures is the incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)— three brilliant African-American women working at NASA.

Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe star in the upcoming drama, Hidden Figures, which chronicles the phenomenal, real-life story of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn and Mary Jackson--a team of African-American women who provide NASA with important mathematical data needed to launch the program's first successful space missions.

Johnson (played by Henson), in particular, broke barriers as the only Black woman on an all-male, white research team. She and her Black female

colleagues were known as "computers in skirts."

“These women had degrees and masters in a field where they wouldn’t allow them to spread their wings and fly,” Henson said of the project. “In this film, you get to see these women finally getting their wings. Their figures won’t be hidden anymore.”
