IRS Hits RHOA Star NeNe Leaks With A 820k Tax Lien   

BHR Hollywood Reports.........After news reports indicated that NeNe Leakes owed more than $820,000 in back taxes  and was in jeopardy of losing her home, the reality star decided to send a rather vague response.

Leakes' lien stems from 2014. The IRS filed the tax lien in Gwinnett County federal court in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

But it's not like she wasn't making money that year.

Along with her salary from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Leakes starred on "Dancing With the Stars," and launched an HSN fashion line, the NeNe Leakes Collection.

The 48-year-old also played the wicked stepmother, Madame, in Broadway's adaptation of "Cinderella."

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star posted a photograph of herself smiling from ear to ear on Instagram, with the caption:

Though it's not clear, Leakes' use of the hashtag "#oversight" appears to imply that she may have mistakenly overlooked her taxes, rather than the narrative that she can't afford it.
