BHR Hollywood Reports.......Megyn Kelly got in a heated debate with "The Kelly File" guest D.L. Hughley on Wednesday night.

Hughley was speaking about the recent death of Philando Castile, killed by a cop in Minnesota, but appeared upset when he learned Mark Fuhrman was also invited on the Fox News show to comment on police shootings. Fuhrman was infamously convicted of perjury after denying the use of the N-word in the 1995 O.J. murder Simpson trial.

Hughley, further incensed when Kelly brought up the case of Mike Brown, an unarmed teen shot to death by Darren Wilson in Ferguson, said police officers are given the benefit of the doubt that others aren't.

“The only place racism doesn’t exist is Fox News and the police department,” Hughley said. “That’s absolutely true.”

“That’s insulting,” Kelly said in response. “You just insulted millions of people watching this channel.”

“And I’m insulted by the things I hear on this network, so we’re even,” Hughley shot back. “I could care less about insulting people that insult me on a daily basis.” Hugley said.

Kelly appeared to calm things down when she said white people and black people can perceive interactions with police differently. She cautioned against assuming race is a factor in situations before details are known.

Hughley said a 2006 FBI report found white supremacists were "rife" in U.S. police departments and refused to give cops the benefit of the doubt.

"It's very dangerous when you get to the point where you paint an entire group with the same brush
based on the bad actions of a few people," Kelly said.

"That is amazing to hear on this network, that really is," Hughley responded.

Kelly thanked Hughley for being on the show and abruptly ended the interview.
