This Will Be The First Time That The Bush Family Not
Endorsed A Republican Nominee 

BHR Hollywood Reports..........The non-endorsements come as Trump becomes the presumptive nominee and many party figures have tried to come to terms with the fact that the demagogic reality television star will be their party’s standard-bearer in November.

The decision by both former presidents is particularly personal because of the unsuccessful candidacy of Jeb Bush.

Jeb Bush 

 The former Florida governor, who is George HW’s son and George W’s brother, was repeatedly attacked during his campaign by Trump.

The presumptive nominee tarred the two-term governor as “low-energy” and mocked him as “an
embarrassment to his family”.

Trump also has repeatedly attacked George W Bush on the stump. In particular, Trump accused Bush of lying about the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to justify the 2003 Iraq war. “They lied.

Donald Trump 

They said there were weapons of mass destruction – there were none. And they knew there were none.

There were no weapons of mass destruction,” Trump said in a February debate in Greenville, South Carolina.

George W. Bush has done his best to stay out of the political spotlight since leaving the White House in 2008, and so far this election cycle, both he and his father have stayed relatively quiet about the progress, or lack thereof.

It is believed that that this anti-endorsement from the Bush men is a direct response to the verbal bashing of George W. by Donald Trump.

 Trump has been calling out George W. in the media for his part in the Iraq War disaster, bringing much unwanted attention to the Bush family.

Hillary Clinton 

This response to ‘he who shall not be named’ clinching the Republican nomination is not exactly uncommon this year, but it was definitely an unexpected move for the diehard Republican family. To throw away one’s vote is an act of defiance, and the fact that the Bush’s would rather Hillary Clinton become President speaks volumes of the character of both ‘he who shall not be named’ AND Hillary Clinton.
