The Mississippi emcee tried to gain entry to Ozio Restaurant and Lounge in Washington, D.C., and when one of Banner’s friends couldn’t get in, he lost it.

Banner flipped out on the security guard and was subsequently detained. He was then arrested and released. Apparently, he was taken in for inciting a fight after throwing money and credit cards at the club’s security.

A video shows Banner yelling at officers when they arrived on the scene. He was arrested shortly thereafter. Banner responded on Twitter Wednesday:

Banner's long-awaited new album "The God Box," which he has on record said is his best work yet, has been delayed multiple times.
The album, which includes features from Mississippians Big K.R.I.T. and Tito Lopez, has a Aug. 19 release date on iTunes.
