While the comedian was on the road promoting his new film Central Intelligence, burglars broke into his Los Angeles home and made off with half a million dollars' worth of clothes, jewelry, watches and other goods, police confirmed to People.
We're told the house has surveillance cameras inside and out and cops are combing through video for a lead.
Interestingly ... Hart's house sits in an uber exclusive neighborhood behind 2 security gates.
In addition to Central Intelligence, he has a stand-up comedy special, What Now?, coming out in October. The first trailer arrived Tuesday.
