Afeni Shakur Davis (Mother Of Tupac) Has Past Away At The Age Of 69

BHR Hollywood Reports.........Legendary rap artist Tupac Shakur's mother passed away in Marin County late Monday night, according to the Marin County Sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office says Afeni Shakur Davis, 69, had passed via their Twitter account.

The Sheriff's Office responded to a report of possible cardiac arrest at Davis' home around 9:30 p.m. on Monday night. She was transferred to a local hospital, where she died around 10:28
p.m.

The Sheriff's Coroners Office will investigate the exact cause and manner of Davis' death, the Sheriff's Office said. 

She was the subject of Tupac's iconic 1995 hit "Dear Mama." 

Tupac was famously shot on Sept. 7, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. After six days in the hospital, the then-25-year-old succumbed to his injuries. The shooter was never caught.
