It's Goldberg's first foray into the legal U.S. weed market, which saw sales jump 17 percent year-on-
year to $5.4 billion in 2015, according to ArcView Group.
It comes nearly two years after Goldberg wrote a piece for The Cannabist, espousing her love for her marijuana vaporizer pen for helping rid her of glaucoma-induced headaches.

After finding out that no one was yet marketing marijuana for menstrual cramps, she got in touch with Elisabeth's company.

Goldberg's fondness for weed is well-documented.
For further proof, enjoy her introduction to a column for The Cannabist: "My vape pen and I, a love story." Her vape is named Sippy, by the way. They're very happy together.
When Goldberg was first exploring the idea, she was told that the product did not have a broad enough appeal.
“When I asked whether there was medicinal cannabis out there to give relief to women with cramps, I was told that would be a ‘niche’ product,” Goldberg told Reports.
“We’re here for that niche, which is made up of half the population.”
