Rick Ross Has Been Indicted On Kidnapping And Assault Charges
BHR Hollywood Reports.........Back in June, Rick Ross was arrested on kidnapping and assault charges following an incident with his groundskeeper at his Georgia mansion.

Rozay was eventually released on bail and served some time on house arrest while the case has unfolded over the past year.

Now,it has been that Ross has officially been indicted in the matter, though his legal team is reportedly not that concerned about the case.

Ross' attorney Steve Sadow is arguing that Zamudio was using the guesthouse to throw parties and use cocaine and other drugs, and that Ross was "acting in self-defense and in defense of his property when he encountered trespassers."

In other words, Sadow isn't denying the Ross pistol-whipped Zamudio, but rather arguing that Ross was within his rights to pistol-whip Zamudio.

No date has been set for the trial. We will keep you posted as the story develops.

It's unclear where that lawsuit currently stands, but according to reports, Ross' indictments this week are for charges of kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm while committing a crime. As of now, no trial date has been set in the case.

Ross' attorney Sadow issued a statement to Complex on the case. "Now that the prosecutor has formally charged the case, we have filed a preliminary motion for immunity from criminal prosecution, which ultimately would bar further prosecution if the Judge agrees with us.

Essentially what we will show is that Rick Ross acted in self-defense and in defense of his property when he encountered felonious trespassers inside his guest house.

Of course, we also deny all of the allegations in the prosecutor's indictment."
