BHR Hollywood Reports..........Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh was shot and killed late Friday at a local recording studio.

Police identified the victim as Trentavious White, also known as Bankroll Fresh, Lt. Charles Hampton with the Atlanta Police Department told Atlanta’s 11 Alive.

Atlanta police spokesman Donald Hannah said officers responded to Street Execs Studios on Defoor Place NW shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, finding “a large crowd of people fleeing the location.” Authorities later learned that the 28-year-old rapper, whose birth name is Trentavious White, had been taken to Hughes Spalding Children’s Hospital after leaving the scene “in an unknown vehicle.”

He died just before midnight.

“We are not aware of anyone else being wounded (in the shooting),” Hannah said in an email.

A possible motive was unclear. It was also unclear if any arrests had been made. Hannah said Homeland Security responded to the scene and “recovered video evidence.”

After the news broke of Bankroll’s tragic death, his friends and fellow musicians mourned his death
on social media. “RIP Bankroll Fresh” began trending on Twitter. He will clearly be missed.

Neighbors of the Street Execs Studios told FOX 5 they’ve been concerned since the recording studio opened.

One neighbor admitted that he’s complained about loud music and has been worried about crime in the area because of the recording studio. The studio’s owner promised the neighbor better security.

More than 50 shell casings were collected from the scene, Channel 2 Action News reported.

White, best known for his single “Hot Boy,” was affilitied with another local rapper, 2Chainz. He and other members of the hip hop community took to social media Saturday to mourn and offer condolences.
