Last month, David Byrne wrote an essay examining the rise of Donald Trump. Since he began his presidential bid, Adele, R.E.M., and Neil Young have asked Trump to stop using their music for his events.

Chicago Tribune. It was reportedly the largest organized protest that Trump’s campaign has faced.
Violence also erupted at the rally. Five arrests were made, two officers and two civilians were injured.
Last July, Lamar’s “Alright” also inspired Black Lives Matter supporters, who chanted the lyrics while protesting a 14-year-old’s arrest.
