The North Star is a film by writer-director Thomas K. Phillips about Virginia slaves who run away to Pennsylvania in search of true freedom.

Its screening is scheduled for Feb 6-17th, 2014 at the Pan African Film Festival’s 22nd anniversary in Los Angeles.
