Suge Knight Has A New Lawyer In His Murder Case !  

BHR Hollywood Reports...........Former rap music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight has a new lawyer in a murder case filed after authorities said he ran over two men in a parking lot last year in Compton.

Former prosecutor Stephen L. Schwartz has replaced Thomas Mesereau, who won an acquittal for Michael Jackson on child molestation charges.

The move came Thursday after a closed proceeding.

Thomas Mesereau and Sharon Appelbaum were relieved as counsel, a court spokeswoman said after a closed-door meeting between defense attorneys and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald S.Coen. Knight is now being represented by attorneys Thaddeus Culpepper and Stephen Schwartz.

Our sources say Suge and Mesereau had a bitter disagreement over confidential information. We're told Suge claims the info made its way to authorities and he became enraged.

Knight has pleaded not guilty and claimed self-defense after he was seen on security video running over two men last February, killing one and seriously injuring the other.

Mesereau declined comment on the change.
