The family told reports the singer died of idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Which led to heart failure.
Her family also confirmed Cole's death in a statement to reports last week, saying: "Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived … with dignity, strength and honor."

Cole also battled Hepatitis C.
Which the singer admitted was the result of prolonged drug use decades earlier.
