BHR Hollywood Reports..............Erykah Badu threw some creative shots in Iggy Azalea’s direction. Pantomiming a couple of phone calls, the neo-soul legend pretended to turn away Young Thug and her co-parent Andre 3000, playfully declaring that she was “banning rap” from the ceremony

Then she pretended to let Iggy Azalea into the show on the basis that her music “is definitely not rap,” even offering to call her an Uber. In response, Iggy hopped on Twitter, laughing off the diss while she announced that her sophomore album is finally finished. Badu ran with the joke, and has addressed it once again today (Dec. 7).

In a recently released clip posted via Twitter, Badu offered up an apology to Azalea for insulting the Grammy nominee during the 2015 Soul Train Awards last week.

“I want to do this for my daughters. I want to apologize to Iggy Azalea because she’s one of their favorite artists and they listen to her all the time and it’s for them,” she began.

However, the speech took a strange turn when the 44-year-old went into a bit of a rant about how her kids should “go be with her then” instead of relying on their mom to support them in their everyday
lives, including attending parent-teacher conferences. “Where’s Iggy for that?”

 Badu concluded before ending the clip. Despite the odd twist, Azalea issued a response to the video late on Monday, with a seemingly genuine message on her own Twitter account.

Iggy Responded :“Tell the kids I’m a big fan of mom, even if we don’t agree where to file my music in their iTunes folders,” the “Fancy” rapper joked in reference to Badu’s original diss.

 “I’m gonna announce a new tour soon, If they do great in class there is officially an open invitation extended to them and friends with good report cards to come and enjoy a show anytime. I am 100% a woman of my word, and I appreciate the apology.”
