Rappers Nas And Eryka Badu Are Coming Together For New Movie "The Land" !!!

BHR Hollywood Reports...............Queens, New York lyricist Nas will serve as executive producer and producer of the soundtrack to a new film by Erykah Badu.

The pair is getting together to produce a film called “The Land,” which stars Michael K. Williams and Badu.

The movie chronicles the life of four teens that seek a better life than the streets of Cleveland, Ohio can afford them. Also, there is the Drug Queen jeoparding everything the boys have worked for.

The film has been written by Steve Caple Jr. and Lizzie Friedman.Caple Jr., who Nas previously doted on, also helped in directing the film.

“[I’m a] huge fan of my man Steve Caple Jr. I think he can become the next great filmmaker. [I’m] also, very excited to be working with my former agent and friend Charles King on his first film with his new venture.

All great energy around the film, which I believe will yield amazing results,” Nas said while speaking with Variety.


The Land focuses on four teenagers in Cleveland, Ohio who are in search of a better life. Both Erykah Badu and Michael K. Williams will lend their acting talents for the film.
