R&B Group Dru Hill Has Won A $1 Million Dollar Settlement Against Their Record Label

BHR Hollywood Reports.............R&B group Dru Hill has won a $1 million dollar settlement against their record label, KEDAR Entertainment.

The group accused the label of mishandling funds they earned from their comeback album in 2010, and claimed the misappropriation of funds cost them thousands in royalties.

The quartet released InDRUpendence Day in 2010, though it failed to reach charts beyond the number 10 spot on Billboard’s R&B album.

 The suit filed by the group claims their label fell short in allocating funds to promote the album, which they attribute to its poor reception.

Dru Hill, who released their self-titled debut album in 1996.

Is best known for their string of R&B hits including their chart-topping songs “Never Make A Promise”, “In My Bed” and “How Deep Is Your Love.”
