Gunman Fatally Shoots Up Community College In Oregon Leaving 10 People Killed And 20 Wounded |
Ten people were killed and 20 were wounded by gunfire in an act of domestic terrorism.

said after receiving an emergency call, officers responded and "engaged the suspect. There was an exchange of gunfire, the [male] shooter was neutralized," he said, adding that the shooter was deceased.

He said he did not know what type of weapon was used nor whether the shooter had been a student at the college.
Hanlin said there were "confirmed injuries and confirmed fatalities" but would not say how many were dead.
Gov. Kate Brown said the suspect was "a 20-year-old male." She expressed her "profound dismay and heartbreak."
Oregon State Police Superintendent Richard Evans said state, local and federal authorities were probing the shooting.
