Former NFL Player Kordell Stewart Files Lawsuit On Andrew
Caldwell For Spreading "Gay Rumors"
BHR Hollywood Reports...........Former NFL player Kordell Stewart filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against a viral video star who claimed the two had a gay relationship.

The suit states Caldwell-- best known for his testimony of being "delivert" from homosexuality-- made "false and defamatory" claims on the Internet radio show "The Shakeup" about an alleged relationship.

Stewart is seeking "general and special damages for … loss of earnings, emotional distress and impairment to his reputation,".

On the radio show, Caldwell claimed he dated a number of football players, namely Stewart. He also alleged Stewart gifted him with purses and cars.

The suit, filed in DeKalb County Superior Court, also names “The Gospel Truth” creator and producer Jarrius Keyun Moon and Catalyst Next LLC, which controls the Internet morning show “The ShakeUP.”

Kordell And Porsha
Stewart says that Caldwell’s claims are false and that he has never been gay. “At all times during [Kordell's] life, Mr. Stewart has been, and is, a heterosexual male,” the court documents read. Stewart claims emotional distress, loss of earnings and — wait for it — impairment to his reputation as a result of Caldwell’s claims.

The 10-year NFL veteran was formerly married to Porsha Williams, one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” They divorced in 2013.

According to the complaint, during the interview, Caldwell said, “I dated plenty of football players.”

“I dated some in Atlanta. I dated, you know, Kordell. Yes. Kordell Stewart,” he continued.

Although Caldwell later recanted his story, Stewart says in the lawsuit that websites continue to air the original radio interview.
