At midnight, the "Purple Rain" icon released his much anticipated new album, HITNRUN Phase One, exclusively on Tidal, Jay Z's music streaming service.

Prince and his band 3rdEyeGirl released the followup to last year's Art Official Age and PlectrumElectrum.
As previously reported, HITNRUN Phase One (formerly known as The Hit & Run Album and HITNRUN) is available exclusively through Tidal.
The record features the single "HARDROCKLOVER" and a reworked version of "This Could B Us".
Prince has also curated a rollout of new tracks and rarities via Tidal's "What's New" section; this week's is "Stare", previously available via Spotify.
