Lifetime Is Coming Out With A Toni Braxton Biopic "Un break My Heart:
 The Toni Braxton Story"

BHR Hollywood Reports.........The network has given the green light to a Toni Braxton biopic titled Unbreak My Heart: The Toni Braxton Story, directed by Vondie Curtis Hall.

The project is said to be in the early stages, as there are no details on casting or an official announcement from Lifetime.

"Un-Break My Heart is the never-before-told story of the measures Braxton took to make herself and her family whole again, serving as an inspiration to people around the world," the movie's official description reads.

Braxton will executive produce the project and appear in the film, but not as herself.

Lifetime has been on a roll in the last couple of years it seems, in terms of original movies starring black actors, or biopics on the lives of black public personalities.

The all-black cast "Steel Magnolias," the Whitney Houston biopic, the Aaliyah biopic, the wedding romcom "With This Ring," the movie based on the Broadway play "The Trip To Bountiful," the En Vogue movie and several others, all produced and broadcast in the last year or two.
