 Charged After Being Pulled Over

BHH Sports Reports..........A few days after Antonio Cromartie's wife, Terricka Cromartie, accused Madison police of pulling her over for "driving while black," the Madison Police Department announced that she was charged with opera
ting a motor vehicle while on a cell phone and having tinted windows.

On the morning of Sept. 25, Terricka Cromartie was driving through Madison, New Jersey when she was stopped by a White police officer.

 Her husband, Antonio, currently plays for the New York Jets and the team is headquartered close to Madison.
 According to the Census, over 13,700 Whites live in the town compared to only 500 Blacks.

When Terricka asked why she was stopped, the officer simply replied by saying, “I just wanted to know why you were in Madison.”

Terricka was not given a ticket and she was eventually allowed to leave.

She filmed the encounter and said that she was a victim of racial profiling.

Days later, the Madison Police Department issued a statement on their Facebook page saying that Terricka would be charged with operating a vehicle while using a cell phone and having tinted windows.
