BHR Hollywood Reports.........Adrienne Bailon and fiancé Lenny Santiago have called off their engagement and parted ways after six years of dating,


"The Real" co-host says that while the pair still remain close friends.

They had to do what was right in their hearts.

"I am, of course, sad that things didn’t go as we planned, but we still remain close friends," Bailon said in a statement.

 "Six years is a long time to be together, but we had to make the decision to go with our hearts and not be embarrassed or afraid of change.

 He absolutely helped make me a better person and I will forever cherish the time we shared together."

However, she keeps it real (obvs), so she set the record straight on the status of her engagement.

"Through the summer, I went on my little Eat Pray Love journey and it was a time for me to come to terms with my own truth and my honesty and I am not engaged anymore and we're in a good place," she admitted.
