BHR Hollywood Reports.............Rapper T.I. owes the federal government more than $4.5 million in unpaid taxes - and now Uncle Sam is coming after the rapper's property and assets to collect on the millions he owes them

T.I., aka Clifford Harris, and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle Harris accumulated $1,397,283.47 in unpaid taxes in 2012 and neglected to pay $3,173,476.39 from his personal income taxes in 2013, Daily Mail reported. This totals to over $4.5 million, and the IRS has filed two tax liens on the entertainer to collect the sum.

Due to the lien placed against the 34-year-old’s assets and property, some of his most expensive possessions are in danger of being seized, including his $4 million Georgia home and his luxury cars priced in the six figure range, such as his Ferrari F430 Spider and Bentley Mulsanne, according to the publication.

That should be chump change for the 34-year-old rapper, whose wealth has been estimated to be as much as $215 million.

 

T.I And Tiny 

According to People with Money magazine he was one of the top ten highest paid rappers for 2015 with an estimated combined earning of $75 million.

T.I. was once known as Rubber Band Man, a reference to the custom of wearing rubber bands around the wrist to denote wealth.

From the outside looking in, the Grand Hustle Records CEO seemed to be in stable financial standing.

He owned Club Crucial, his own nightclub in Atlanta which is considered one of the most popular spots in the city.

In May of this year, T.I. opened his new soul food and fine dining restaurant, Scales 925, in downtown Atlanta, which has garnered mixed reviews.

 He also continues to star in television shows, such as his reality show, “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” and movies like this year’s Ant-Man.
