Mbuso Mandela, 24, was “calm and composed” during a brief appearance on Monday, reports reported.

He remains in police custody and will return to the Johannesburg magistrates court on Friday for a bail hearing.
On Tuesday police insisted he would not be treated differently from any other suspect.
Reports suggest that the girl was followed to a toilet where she was allegedly raped in a cubicle on the night of 7 August.

Mbuso was arrested last weekend after the alleged victim, who is receiving counselling, opened a case against him.
The bodyguard revealed that he was there on behalf of Madikizela-Mandela, who invited them to her Soweto home last Thursday to discuss the matter.
Madikizela-Mandela, still a politically powerful woman in South Africa, promised to ask the provincial police commissioner to handle the case and said her family would also hold a press conference, the spokesman said.
The family reported the rape when they did not hear from Madikizela-Mandela again.
