Short struck a deal that would have him avoid jail 

Short struck a deal that would have him avoid jail simply by completing community service and spending three years on probation for his multiple DUIs, but the rapper failed to complete his community service.

The rapper was arrested in 2013  and captured on video trying to flee.

According to The Media Report the judge offered him more time to complete it, provided he’d agree to three more years of probation, but Short apparently had enough of the monitoring. He told the judge he’d rather just do the time.
