BHR Hollywood Reports......Walt Disney World has  removed a statue of Bill Cosby from its Florida theme park.

Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios theme park near Orlando, Florida removed a statue of The Cosby Show star after the park closed on Tuesday night.

The statue's removal comes after 2005 court documents were unsealed on Monday.

This follows sexual misconduct allegations made by more than two dozen women that span several decades.

Many of the alleged victims contend that Cosby drugged them before raping or assaulting them, though the comedian has maintained his innocence.

The statue was to be pulled down once the park closed last night, after an online petition called for the removal of the bust - which was featured alongside the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Lucille Ball.

It stood at Disney's Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza.

It comes after newly released court documents showed Cosby once admitted to buying sedatives to
give to women he wanted sex with.

The 77-year-old star denies more than 20 allegations of rape or sexual assault, dating back decades and has never been charged with any offence.

He can’t face prosecution as most alleged incidents are too long ago.

He admitted obtaining Quaaludes while testifying under oath in a sexual assault case that he settled in 2006.
