Mayweather spoke with Couric ahead of last Saturday's match, denying any wrongdoing in a September 2010 incident.
Harris alleged Mayweather assaulted her at her home after accusing her of dating another man.
Mayweather was later convicted and sentenced to 90 days in jail, but he maintains his innocence.
In the interview, he told Couric:
"Did I kick, stomp and beat someone? No, that didn’t happen. I look in your face and say, 'No, that didn’t happen.'

Did I restrain a woman that was on drugs?
Yes, I did. So if they say that’s domestic violence, then, you know what?
I’m guilty of restraining a person.
Harris says she's now been labeled a drug addict and has been embarrassed and humiliated on a global scale.
