BHR Hollywood Reports.......Art is imitating life in the case of Terrence Howard and his ex-wife Michelle Ghent.

 Much like Cookie Lyon, the "Empire" star's former spouse wants a piece of his fortune.

Ghent is already receiving $5,800 per month in spousal support.

But with the instant success of Fox's "Empire," she stands to bring in much more.

Court documents state Howard has been ordered to pay 21 percent of anything he made over $62,500 in the first three months of this year.

Three episodes of "Empire" were reportedly shot this year and Ghent claims Howard earns $125,000 per episode.

That totals out to approximately $65,000.

The amount does not include other projects such as Fox's "Wayward Pines," which Howard is set to star in later this year.

Howard and Ghent tied the knot in January 2010 in a secret ceremony but parted ways in February 2011.

The pair went through a messy divorce, with property disputes and allegations of domestic violence.
