The second one was bought by a local resident dedicated to a dead pet damaged, city officials said.
Brown, 18, was fatally shot by a former Ferguson police officer last summer. His death sparked a national outcry against police violence and racial profiling and, more specifically, a divide between law enforcement and communities of color.

City officials said both trees were chopped off at the trunk and that concrete plaques placed at the bases of both were taken.
Police believe the trees were damaged late Saturday night or early Sunday
morning.
A police officer patrolling the park noticed the damage Sunday. Police said they have not found witnesses to the vandalism and have no leads in the case, according to the Post-Dispatch.
The city says it is planning to replace the trees and install new plaques this week.
This isn’t the first time a memorial dedicated to Brown has been destroyed.
A makeshift shrine on the street where the teen was shot six times was mysteriously burned down last September.
