He alleges the star made outrageous demands while working working on Precious and "didn't play the game."
"She was making unreasonable demands, and she wasn’t thinking — this was w
hen reverse racism was happening, I think," Daniels said.
"You have to thank the producers of the film, you have to thank the studio, and she didn’t understand that. I love her, I’ve spoken to her. She’s brilliant, and I love working with brilliant people."

He added that he didn't believe the lull in her career had anything to do with race.
Mo'Nique fired back with an interview of her own on Thursday, saying she received plenty of work after Precious, but it wasn't the right work.
"It wasn't that I was blackballed like Mr. Daniels said ... the phone was ringing and the scripts were coming but the offers that were associated with them made me say 'I can't accept that,'" she told Lemon on "CNN Tonight," adding that taking such roles would have sent a negative message to other black actresses.
She asked, "If we continue to accept these low offers, how do we make change?"
