Knight, 49, met with homicide detectives after authorities identified him as a person of interest in the case.
He was arrested at around 3 a.m. and his bail was set at $2 million.
The d
eceased victim, pronounced dead at a local hospital, was 55 years old.
The condition of the 51-year-old injured victim is unknown. At least one of the victims was a member of the film crew, Corina confirmed.
Knight is credited with founding Death Row Records, the leading West Coast rap label that dominated the hip-hop scene in the early to mid-1990s.
He is noted for assisting in the careers of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur.
