BHR Hollywood Reports..........Police say for reality television star Benzino was arrested at the Atlanta airport after a loaded handgun was found in his carry-on bag.

Benzino, whose real name is Raymond Scott, told The Associated Press on Wednesday it was an
"unfortunate and honest mistake.

" He says he forgot to remove the gun from his bag.

He was charged Tuesday with carrying a gun in an unauthorized location and released an hour later on $3,000 bond.

Benzino, the CEO of Hip-Hop Weekly magazine, appeared on VH1's reality show "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" and is a former co-owner of The Source magazine.

 Last year, Benzino was shot by his nephew while driving in a funeral procession for his mother in Massachusetts.

Benzino says the gun is registered to him.

 However, he was arrested under Georgia law because he did not have a license to carry a gun.
