 Might Be A Guest Star On The Hit New T V Show The “Empire” 

BHR Hollywood Reports.......Denzel Washington wants a piece of the “Empire” that has everybody talking.

Fox’s hit series created by Lee Daniels has already been renewed for a second season after pulling in over 10 million viewers the first two episodes.

 If Daniels has his way, the legendary actor will appear on the show for at least a guest role.

Daniels posted a picture of himself with Washington to Instagram with the caption, “Trying to talk this one into doing a guest star on #empire #nextweekdinneronme.”

If Washington did however appeared on Empire, he would be a part of a long line of  A-listers.

Daniels also confirmed his fellow Philly native and legendary singer Patti LaBelle will board the show, after he posted a picture of the two on Instagram teasing.

Daniels recently told the Philadelphia Inquirer the two are discussing the possibility.

“Denzel hasn’t done television in 30 years,” Daniels said. “But he saw the pilot and said, ‘I’ve got to be a part of this.’”


Washington definitely has the chops to fit right on in with the grimy world of “Empire.”
