BHR Hollywood Reports......After collaborating with Disclosure and Sam Smith earlier this year, Mary J. Blige packed her bags and booked a ticket to London, where she’s been recording her new album Mary J. Blige: The London Sessions.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has been in the studio with executive producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and British hitmakers including Smith, Emeli Sandé, and Naughty Boy.

The November project will mark Blige’s second release of 2014. In June, the Grammy Award-winner released the soundtrack to “Think Like A Man Too”, which debuted at number six on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums boasting a whopping 9,000 copies.

 And despite the meager first week sales, the New York native managed to nail her 16th top 10 album.

The London Sessions is due in November.
