BHR HollyWood Reports.......The power couple has been living apart for three months and divorce lawyers have been negotiating a property settlement and custody agreement.

Sources claim the couple has been living in separate houses in New York City since May; their only contact occurring when Cannon sees their kids.

The deepest grievances between Carey and Cannon allegedly have to do with his infamous work ethic. TMZ reports that she’s complained about him constantly taking on projects — but he’s pointed out that he’s been generating money for their family.

 Carey doesn't feel they need the money, especially if it keeps him away constantly working. Meanwhile, he’s charged that she’s a diva who can’t handle anyone disagreeing with her.

Carey was also allegedly livid that Cannon referenced sleeping with Kim Kardashian during a March appearance on Big Boy’s radio show. Per Big Boy’s request, Nick played a game where he had to name five celebs he’d slept with; he mentioned his ex, Kim K, as one of his five.

 That and a later interview with Howard Stern, during which Cannon discussed Carey withholding sex, reportedly enraged and humiliated the pop superstar.
