Mariah Carey was injured while filming a video in New York
BHR HollyWood Reports.......Singer Mariah Carey was rushed to New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery Sunday night after a nasty accident on set of her new video.
The music maven was on the set of her new video, Beautiful, directed by her husband Nick Cannon, when she had an injury that resulted in her suffering an extremely painful dislocated shoulder.
Mariah’s spokeswoman Cindi Berger explained, according to media reports:
“Mariah was injured while filming a video for the remix of “#Beautiful” starring Jeezy, directed by her husband Nick Cannon. She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine and is recovering at home.”
The doctor on the scene had to pop her shoulder back into place, according to the report.
Hopefully it wasn’t Cannon’s fault or else that’s going to be a tense house — and bedroom — this evening.
Mariah’s new album, which was slated to drop in July, has been delayed so that Team Mariah can work on it a little more, according to her website. Carey also has a version of “#Beautiful” that she sung with Miguel.
