BHR Hollywood Reports.....50 Cent is in hot water now that he’s been charged with domestic violence.

According to TMZ, The 37-year-old "In da Club" Rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was charged with domestic violence and four counts of vandalism in papers filed Monday. If convicted, he faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.

Joy, a model who had a baby by the rapper last year, contacted police after 50 reportedly kicked down her door and kicked her. She then says he broke chandeliers, furniture, a TV and a lamp in a fit of rage during the June 23 incident.

Jackson had already left when officers arrived June 23 at a Toluca Lake condo belonging to a woman who had a baby with him, police said.

50 has been charged with 1 count of misdemeanor domestic violence and 4 counts of misdemeanor vandalism. He faces five years in jail and $46,000 in fines and will be arraigned on July 22.

Rumors have long swirled that Joy gave birth to the rapper’s baby but until today the news was never confirmed.

The woman told police she had been in a three-year relationship with Jackson.

"Regardless of perceived celebrity or notoriety, domestic violence is a serious crime and alleged perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by this office," Feuer said.
