Atlanta Falcons sign LB Brian Banks He Never Stop Dreaming


 BHR HollyWood Reports The Atlanta Falcons say they've signed Brian Banks, the former Southern Cal recruit whose NFL dreams were derailed when he was convicted of rape and kidnapping charges 10 years ago.  Banks was later exonerated.

 Banks, 27, took part in the Falcons' offseason workouts, hoping for a chance to resume his career. He was 16 years old and had a scholarship offer from USC when a high school classmate accused him of rape.  Banks spent five years in jail, but was freed when the accuser changed her story.  He was cleared on May 12, 2012.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer broke the story on Twitter Wednesday morning when he tweeted, "Gang, I'm reporting the best scoop I could ever report: my man FINALLY has his dream back: Falcons have just signed @BrianBanksFREE!!!!"  Glazer also tweeted that he started working with Banks two weeks after he was exonerated to get him back in the game.
