Usher's 'Climax' Beats Carly Rae Jepsen & Taylor Swift To Time Magazine's Best Song of the Year


BHR HollyWood Reports Usher's tantalising single 'Climax' has been named the Best Song of 2012 by Time magazine, beating the likes of Taylor Swift and Carly Rae Jepsen.

The 'Scream' hitmaker burst back onto the scene this summer with the sensuous Diplo-produced track after more than a year away, and received critical acclaim for his piercing vocals on the ballad.Usher's 'Climax' has been hailed as the top song of the year!

According to Time magazine, Usher, who co-wrote the track, was a huge hit on Vodafone's Big Top 40, beating Psy' record-breaking viral hit, 'Gangnam Style' which is currently the most-watched video on YouTube's history.

Also included in the top 10 is Carly Rae Jepsen with 'Call Me Maybe' and Taylor Swift's break-up anthem 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.'

Meanwhile, Odd Future singer Frank Ocean has been placed at number three in the magazine's Best Album of 2012 list for his debut record Channel Orange, while hip-hop rapper Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d. city also makes the list.
