Ne-Yo’s former baby’s mother threatens to sue him

BHR HollyWood Reports Ne-Yo is already the dutiful father of two with his longtime girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, but a former flame of his, who once deceived him into thinking her child was his, has now threatened to sue the singer for airing their dirty laundry on camera.


During a recent episode of Vh1’s “Behind The Music,” Ne-Yo revealed that he was previously in a relationship with a woman named Jesseca White, who became pregnant and gave birth to a son named Chimere during their relationship. Although Ne-Yo initially believed the child to be his, White later revealed to him that he was not Chimere’s father.

Despite the revelation, Ne-Yo assumed the role of a father for Chimere and due to California law White was able to seek financial support from Ne-Yo for acting as the child’s father.

 Ne-Yo eventually settled out of court with White for $575,000. Ne-Yo was originally listed as the father on Chimere’s birth certificate, but it was removed and, according to him, White took Chimere and vanished.

According to TMZ, as a part of the confidentiality agreement both Ne-Yo and White signed, both parties agreed to never speak of the paternity matter to the public or the press.

 However, because Ne-Yo spilled all of the details on the case, White has now hired high-powered attorney Gloria Allred, who accused Ne-Yo of breaking the confidentiality agreement.

In a letter to Ne-Yo, Allred claims that the singer falsely depicted White as “a harlot who lied, broke his heart and then vanished … Jesseca has been defamed, ridiculed and harassed.”

Allred also claims that White has been unable to work, was forced to file for state aid and has  been “beset by nausea, vomiting and hair loss” due to Ne-Yo’s claims.

 White is now seeking another monetary settlement with Ne-Yo out of court, otherwise she will be forced to seek serious legal options.

Well, this seems like quite the legal mess for Ne-Yo and it looks like he may be shelling out more money to White. However, he’s not alone.
