BHR HollyWood Reports The elderly woman who was lucky enough to sit next to Jay-Z on a subway in October says she was surprised that the hip-hop mogul "wasn't full of himself."

Ellen Grossman has become an overnight sensation after she was featured in Jay-Z's newdocumentary, Life + Times, having a conversation with the 'Watch The Throne' rapper en route to Brooklyn hours before he was due to perform at the new Barclays Centre two months ago.

Hilariously, Ellen told Jay-Z that she was unaware of his celebrity status, but later realised he was one of the biggest hip-hop stars in the world.

"Are you famous?" Ellen asked the rapper," to which he jokingly replied: "Yes. Not very famous, you don’t know me. But I'll get there someday."

After the clip of her warming conversation with the rapper went viral this week, Ellen has now spoken out admitting that she is enjoying her "15 minutes of fame," and describes her exchange with Hova as "wonderful."

"My first thought was oh my God there's been a disaster upstairs," Ellen told The Guardian of the commotion caused by the rapper travelling on the subway.

"They were all taking pictures of a man I did not recognise. It was just a wonderful conversation. He's very real. He didn't seem disturbed that I didn't understand who he was, he's not full of himself," Ellen continued.
