Singer Mary.J Blige faces lawsuit For Defaulting A Loan

Mary J. Blige took out an advance in 2011 which is where the lawsuit has stemmed from as she has failed to pay back the money by the agreed deadline of July 2012.

Blige’s production company has also been named as a defendant in the lawsuit and it seems this is not the first legal battle the singer has had to face.

In 2011 TD Bank filed a similar lawsuit against her because her charity the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN) reportedly failed to pay back the advanced loan it received.

Pop stars aren't meant to have financial trouble, but it’s sort of comforting to know they do…
